Relapse Prevention

It is said that if you are not working on a programme of recovery then you are working towards relapse. Studies show that most recovering substance abusers will have temporary lapses. If this is not addressed very quickly then full blown relapse is the likely outcome. Marah takes this very seriously and understands that relapse can be prevented if clients are thoroughly educated on the signs of relapse. Recovery is not an event, but a process.

Once clients are educated to understand the process then they can make steps to intervene in the process and hopefully prevent future relapse.

This will be an integral part of our Structured Day Programme.
